Q. What should I wear?
A. While in the car, all participants must wear a long sleeve top, long pants and enclosed shoes. Long sleeved jackets, jumpers, long jeans and sneakers are all acceptable.
Q. What happens in case it rains or in extreme weather conditions?
A. Light to medium showers is still acceptable for us as we do operate on a wet surface. In cases of extreme weather conditions, the activity would be postponed. A final decision will be made according to the situation, and all participants will be notified accordingly via their nominated contact phone number.
Q. Can I request for a particular car for the day?
A. No guarantees can be made for specific car allocations as some cars are used only for certain techniques.
Q. Can I bring spectators?
A. Yes, spectators are more than welcome to enjoy the fun from our undercover seating areas. The more the merrier! They can also take advantage of your 15% discount and go for a Drift Battle Thrill Ride!
Q. Do I need to confirm my booking?
A. All booking confirmations are sent to your nominated email address either from Drift School Australia or our trading partners. Once you receive the confirmation, then your booking is confirmed. If you don’t receive a confirmation email, please contact us via phone or email for further information.
Q. Is it necessary to know how to drive a manual car?
A. We recommend that you have some basic knowledge in driving a manual car.
Q. Can I change my booking?
A. If you would like to change the date of your course, or would like to nominate someone else to take your place, you may do so 14 days prior to you scheduled date. This is also subject to availability on the new date. All changes must be submitted in writing.
Q. What time do I have to arrive?
A. The arrival time will be specified in your confirmation email. Please arrive on time as it is compulsory that you attend the Driver’s Safety Briefing prior to driving. Failure to do so might result in 100% forfeiture.
Q. Are there any height or weight restrictions?
A. No, we do not have any height or weight restrictions.
Q. Can I bring my own camera (photo/video)?
A. Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your own camera, however they cannot be attached to any Drift School Australia property.
Q. Do you supply video footage?
A. Yes, we have video recording cameras mounted on our Drift Battle Thrill Ride cars. We have video packages available for purchase, which are all professionally edited, placed onto a USB and delivered to you by a courier (metro regions) or AusPost (outer regions). This process will usually take 14 days.
*Q. Can I bring my own helmet?
A. If you have your own ADR Approved helmet, you are more than welcome to bring it along for the day otherwise we will have one supplied for you.
*Q. Do I need a valid drivers licence?
A. A valid drivers licence is NOT necessary as we operate all of our driving techniques and experiences on a track, and not on public roads.
*Q. What is the minimum age required?
A. The minimum age required is 16 years. We do not have a maximum.
**Q. Can I change my scheduled date?
A. If you would like to change the date of your course, you may only do so 14 days prior to your scheduled date. For all changes made within 14 Days of your scheduled date, there will be an additional re-issuing fee*. (50% of your original product price*). This is also subject to availability on the new date. All changes must be submitted via email.
**Q. Can I nominate someone else to take my place?
A. You may nominate someone else to take your place if you are unable to attend. All changes must be submitted via email.
**Q. Do you supply photography?
A. Yes, we have a professional photographer at all of our Drift School events. Photos from the event are available on our Facebook page album (Drift School Australia), usually 7 days after the event.
